Most LinkedIn users don’t realize how important it is to have a good profile picture.
This explains why so many LinkedIn users have profile pictures of poor quality or none at all.
In order to avoid making the same mistake again, we’ve put together this guide to show you how to quickly and easily alter your LinkedIn profile image.
Raise its visibility through an increase in viewers.
If you don’t have a profile picture, LinkedIn estimates that your profile will be viewed 14 times less frequently.
Think about how many more people will look at your profile if it has a professional and attractive picture.
Navigate to your profile page and click on your current profile photo or the empty area that should be there.
Here you can modify your existing profile picture or upload a new one. We will then click “add new.”
Now we’re going to hit “upload photo,” but you probably already knew that!
You are now responsible for locating your chosen profile image; I do not know where you save essential files; presumably somewhere sensible.
It’s critical that the image’s dimensions are correct.
- You should now be able to see the image you chose, and you can zoom in and out, change the exposure, etc.
- When you are satisfied, click “save a photo.”
It was that simple!
Recruiters, hiring managers, and potential clients will see your LinkedIn profile photo as the first thing they see about you, so make sure it’s up to date and professional looking at all times.
